a flu filled weekend + carousel ny

it's sunday night, and thanks to a nasty flu bug, our weekend to do list has been left virtually untouched.      i don't think i left our bedroom for nearly 36 hours.  but thankfully, after watching the chipmunks 1st and 2nd movie on repeat, we're all seeing the light at the end of the tunnel (but it'll be a miracle if i ever get those songs out of my head!)  the girls have thanksgiving feasts at school and rehearsals for upcoming dance recitals and if i don't get christmas decorations up soon gracie might just burst.  it's starting to really feel like the holidays, we can see a california christmas in our sights and it's helping us get through the next couple crazy weeks!

i fell in love with the girls fleur + dot dresses from  carousel ny the second i opened the package!  i've hardly pulled them out of the wash before the girls are begging to wear them again.  i love how versatile they are (they've worn them with knee high socks, leopard cardigans and oxfords) and how sweet they look on.  carousel ny is quickly becoming one of my favorite online shops- it has a boutique feel with some great unique brands...i discovered shampoodle on their site, it has some darling winter pieces!
