comfy and cute with sweet little peanut...

School is back in session!  We are leaving our carefree summer life behind and getting life a little more structured.  We like to schedule our week so we have a casual day- playing in the morning, maybe a trip to the library or grocery store, nap time and snuggling.  While it’s tempting to stay in our pajamas (especially as the weather gets cooler) we have found that we are much more productive when we get up, get dressed and get going.  We need outfits that are perfect for laying on the floor coloring, curled up in bean bags with books and squeezing into the teeny tiniest hiding spots during hide and seek.

These are outfits that are great for those casual days- comfy enough for lounging and cute enough for heading out.  Harem pants are a new favorite of ours for girls, floral print can be dressed up or down, thrown on with stripes, polka dots, a boyfriend sweater or a denim vest.  Pockets are a bonus!  You can’t beat leggings, and with all the patterned fun prints, there are endless options.  Paired with an over-sized tee, this outfit is just as comfy as pajamas.  For boys we are loving the tighter fitting sweat pants with an elastic bottom. Perfect for rolling up and easy to run around in and play. Add a cute graphic tee and a zipped hoodie on colder days and you have a stylish ensemble for lazy days inside or out!

We are so excited to be sharing some of our favortie fashion finds and picks over at Sweet Little Peanut each Friday!  We love their blog and are thrilled to be contributing!  And, I wanted to add a little peek at our newest addition, Lucy Lou, or as the girls are calling her, Lulu baby.  She is the sweetest puppy and our whole house is head over heels.

  1. Hi! I just found your so so cute! Your girls are so darling! I can't wait to read more. I have an almost 9 month old and I feel like she lives in printed leggings! Now that she is crawling everywhere, its just so much easier!

    1. Hi Ashley,

Thanks so much! Seriously, leggings are the best, I think my girls have gone weeks without wearing anything else! So glad you found our blog, keep in touch!

And ps- I'm dying over Scarlett's dark hair, we're partial to dark haired baby girls around here:)
