hot and humid sunday in nashville...

it was a hot and humid sunday in nashville!  sunday is the only day matthew is home from work, so we like to soak up every minute with him.  after family nap time (all four of us we're asleep at the same time.  i think it's one of the first times!) we headed out for a little walk.  we found a little pond and playground and despite the heat the girls ran and played until we dragged them home.  nashville is beyond beautiful.  the more we get out and explore the more i love it.  it is so green- and the yards here are amazing!  we are anxious to explore downtown nashville a little more.  we're looking for some fun activities, places to go, places to eat and all of that...let me know if you have any suggestions!

  1. Welcome to the south, we pride ourselves on soul food, good manners, and air so thick you feel like you could touch it! I haven't spent much time in Nashville, but I love the Smoky's; they lack the majesty of your Utah mountains, but they're quite lovely.

Hope you enjoy your temporary home.

  2. yay nashville! there is so much to do. you must try Jeni's ice cream. if you venture out to East Nashville have lunch at Silly Goose and go right next door to Jeni's. The Pharmacy Burger in East Nashville is a really awesome place too, they only use Tennessee farm-raised cows and they create their own phosphate sodas in delicious flavors. enjoy!
